ELECTION DAY!!!!!

Update:

” You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away men’s initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

—Abraham Lincoln—

Another Obamanation Association

Another Obamanation Association:  William Ayers, ACORN, and now another socialist association.

“Evidence that emerged last week showed that Obama belonged to the New Party, which sought to elect members to public office with the aim of moving the Democratic Party far leftward to ultimately form a new political party with a socialist agenda.

Siskind, who worked with Obama at the law firm and later donated to Obama’s presidential campaign, was also a key attorney representing the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, which maintained a close alliance with the New Party.

the New Zeal blog dug up print copies of the New Party News, the party’s official newspaper, which show Obama posing with New Party leaders, list him as a New Party member and include quotes from him.

Many of the New Party’s founding members were Democratic Socialists for America leaders and members of Committees of Correspondence, a breakaway of the Communist Party USA. Obama attended several DSA events and meetings, including a DSA-sponsored town hall meeting Feb. 25, 1996, entitled “Employment and Survival in Urban America.” He sought and received an endorsement from the DSA.

According to DSA documents, the New Party worked with ACORN to promote its candidates. ACORN, convicted in massive, nationwide voter fraud cases, has been a point of controversy for Obama over the presidential candidate’s ties to the group.”

Say It Ain’t So Opie

Yet another Hollywood Hank or in this case Howard tries to sway the vote

“Movie director Ron Howard has spent much of his adult life making a name for himself apart from the All-American boy named Opie he played on “The Andy Griffith Show” and the squeaky clean Richie Cunningham of “Happy Days.”

But in a video posted on Thursday at the comedy Web site Funnyordie.com, Howard stepped away from the director’s chair and became both Opie and Richie, one more time, to promote Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith) joined Opie, and The Fonz (Henry Winkler), the greaser from the sitcom “Happy Days,” had his own chat with Richie. “Happy Days” and “The Andy Griffith Show” are among the most popular shows in TV history.

“Ron Howard’s Call to Action,” as the nearly four-minute video is called, is the latest in a string of political videos placed at Funny Or Die, a Web site created by comedian Will Ferrell and director Adam McKay.”

Palin receives an Endorsement!

Palin receives an endorsement and from the most unlikely place Hugo Chavez.  Honestly, I cannot think of a better endorsement.  A man who hates America, and would do anything to see its’  destruction.  Barack Hussein Obama only puts our country down blaiming all of the problems in the world on US.  I am surprised that he has not (or at least we don’t know that he has) funneled massive amounts of money to Obama’s campaign to aid in the downfall of the greatest country on the face of the Earth.

CARACAS (Reuters) – Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, renowned for colorful insults of world leaders, called U.S. vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin a confused “beauty queen” on Friday after she said he was a dictator.

Chavez, a leftist who often mocks U.S. President George W. Bush, invoked the advice of Jesus Christ on how to handle the slights by Palin, the Republican governor of Alaska and a former beauty pageant winner.

“I saw the vice presidential candidate, there she was talking about ‘the dictator Hugo Chavez.’ The poor thing, you just feel sorry for her,” he said during a televised broadcast.

“She’s a beauty queen that they’ve pulled out to be a figurehead. We need to say as Christ did: Forgive her, she knows not what she’s saying.”

Republican presidential candidate John McCain picked Palin, who calls herself a moose-hunting “hockey mom,” as his running mate for the November 4 election in a surprise move meant to fire up the party’s conservative Christian base.

McCain and his Democratic rival Barack Obama have promised to reduce U.S. dependence on oil from Venezuela, which supplies about 11 percent of total U.S. oil imports.

The highly popular Chavez, who ousted the U.S. ambassador to Venezuela in September, has described the United States as a decadent empire and has reveled in the U.S. financial crisis.

The loquacious leader made headlines in 2006 by calling Bush “the devil” at a United Nations assembly. He also sparked controversy by calling German Chancellor Angela Merkel a political descendant of Adolf Hitler.

Louis Farrakhan

Louis Farrakhan calls Obama the Messiah- and he ain’t kiddin’!

First a little background on Farrakhan

  • After joining the Nation of Islam, Farrakhan quickly rose through the ranks to become Minister of the Nation of Islam’s Boston Mosque.
  • On October 16, 1995 Farrakhan convened a broad coalition of nearly 1 million men in Washington, D.C. for the Million Man March. Farrakhan, along with New Black Panther Party leader Malik Zulu Shabazz, Al Sharpton and other prominent black Americans marked the 10th anniversary of the Million Man March by holding a second march
  • Characterized the Muslim leader as a “Black Hitler.”
  • “They call me ‘Hitler’. Well that’s a good name. Hitler was a very great man. He wasn’t great for me as a Black man but he was a great German and he rose Germany up from the ashes of her defeat by the united force of all of Europe and America after the First World War. Yet Hitler took Germany from the ashes and rose her up and made her the greatest fighting machine of the twentieth century, brothers and sisters, and even though Europe and America had deciphered the code that Hitler was using to speak to his chiefs of staff, they still had trouble defeating Hitler even after knowing his plans in advance. Now I’m not proud of Hitler’s evil toward Jewish people, but that’s a matter of record. He rose Germany up from nothing. Well, in a sense you could say there is a similarity in that we are rising our people up from nothing.”

Tim Russert’s initial question about Farrakhan, in which he said, “I have been very clear in my denunciation of Minister Farrakhan’s anti-Semitic comments. I think that they are unacceptable and reprehensible.”
